Re: TRW this weekend? 6/25/11?

I'd tell him to fuck himself and would chop it up in front of him and toss it before selling it to him. Seriously! His arrogance about it made it all funnier, but I almost died of laughter when he told me he didn't really like the heliax because it took too long to cut it up enough to fit his RG-8 ...

Re: TRW this weekend? 6/25/11?

btw thanks for the good deal on all the andrew shit :baby: Hahaha, when I told them I wanted it gone... I meant it! I had several hams tell me that $30 for two 50' rolls of 1/2" heliax was a ripoff. One even told me, "I'll be back at 11 and I'll get it for $10!" Btw, do you have any ...

TRW this weekend? 6/25/11?

Anyone going to TRW tomorrow? I'll be down there with a table or two trying to ditch a truckload of gear. I'll have some heliax/superflex parts, Motorola radios, a piece of test equipment or two, laptop mounts and a bunch of other radio related junk. Stop by and say hi... or better yet, take some of...

Re: Yaesu ft-8800 dual band mobile

The mic jack wasn't that big of a problem. Back in my Explorer I used some CAT5 to extend the mic jack to down by the seat and I used a regular 6P6C connector and jack to extend it to a better location. I had used the same technique to mount the head in a better location. The $50 Yaesu kit is a rip ...

So, is Piper Tech an independent contractor or some division of the city? Google wasn't 100% clear on that.
Piper Tech is a clusterfuck.

It's a city owned technology center.

I always see the meter maids/parking enforcement carrying those old crappy GE Mark series EDACs portables.

Also, avoid Broadvoice. I've heard nothing but bad about them. Support is non-existent and it's easier to cancel AOL than them. Not so true on the cancellation, a charge back on the card a while back got their attention real quick! I pay them $12/mo for unlimited calling instate which I put up to 2...

I've got Broadvoice setup here at the house. It's allright, the quality is so-so and the tech support is non existant. I'd only recommend it because of it's price.

Where a bunch of hamsexuals get together.

Some sell shit. Some buy shit.
Eat some shit from the funky volunteer group that always has horrible coffee and hot dogs that look weirder than the ones at a gas station.
