I'm in the market for 8 kits for a repeater relocation. What are you asking for them?

Re: Verizon Integrated Voice and Data

Useless Quantar Review (Stuff you already know)

Put a VHF repeater together & nearly everything is wrapped up. Test users reaction ranged from “WTF!!” to “Can we take the old one (to the range) & put it out of it's misery?” Best one was “man, that does not sound like ass” Motorola Quantar T5365A VHF Repeater 100W PC-2214 Sinclair Intermod...

Re: P25 repeaters

So putting up a P25 repeater is cool because it advances the hobby, but putting up a D-star repeater is gay because, uh, why? Is it because it's actually meant for hams to use and has ham-related software to go with it? Advancing the hobby since it's taking equipment that was used for something els...

Re: HamCom 2008 - Plano, TX

Seriously, WTF possible legitimate use could someone have for an obsolesced electric service meter? Submeter to see just how much power your radio repeater actually uses at a site. Several of the tennants at my site have them. We offered flat rate to 2 of them. Turns out their utility costs are hig...

VOIP Setup help

I have a remote user using a Cisco ATA-186 and an analog phone. On the transmit side we are using a 2600 router with a VIC-2E/M module (Definity PBX with a TN760B E&M card) The setup does not pass caller ID. For VOIP, what CISCO module do I need to use an T1 or ISDN interface to pass caller ID t...
