Wed night net is on IRLP - not echolink. I wish that it was available on echolink, however. I don't know of any IRLP nodes in my area, but echolink is everywhere.

Homebrew PTT Interface

I'm trying to setup an echolink -L node (linked to my v8000). All is up and running fine, but I can't seem to get the PTT to work. Anyone out there built a homebrew interface for keying up the radio, or know of someone who has?

The thing that really intrests me about D-Star (and other digital modes) is the possibility of high speed data - i.e. - the ability for me to access my home network from my car while I'm waiting for a traffic light to change.
