The room was on the smallish side and the isles were barely wide enough for two people to pass each other. It was crowded, not a place for those who dislike crowds. The tables were sold out. The usual mix of trash and treasure. No dealers of new equipment. Two hardy souls were set up int the tailgat...

I'm trying to rebuild a station after the fires so I'll make the trip. I just hope it is not one of those start at 6am and over by 7:30 types.

I saw him also, but this time I went stealth. The only radio I had was the TH-F6 stashed in a pocket with only the speaker mic visible.

The blue 3500 with the tied down 12 GI whip passenger rear was mine.

I guess I need to add more antennas to the truck as I haven't made made the hit list yet.

Picked up a bank charger for the Genesis series and a 900 ham converted Spectra. 1.2 gig in next. If only the 1.2 gig Spectras really did exist.

Parts and labor to fix the low output on my 8900 was $49.00 at Yaesu. Turn around was 5 days.

Yes "they" can find the transmitter making the illegal transmissions if "they" really want to.

It always seems to be on a race weekend when I'm close in the points or when I have a prior commitment. I'm going to Scarbough Faire to spend a day with the inlaws.

It is always a good swapmeet and well worht the trip.
