Nope, flash on the sticker is as I typed it... radio must have had the flash updated at some point or been re-cased?

Flashcode from the service menu is IMBE.

Thanks Josh.

I ran through that, and it's as the seller described it, so I'm happy.

It only has one channel that will xmit on anything, the others just "bloop" at me... :) The one that xmits is 416.425 with PL of 167.9. It's labelled as OTAR on the radio... :anus:

A friend of mine asked me what the recovered audio sounds like from an IMBE radio.

Since mine hasn't arrived yet, and in any case I only have one! does anyone have any high quality, preferably not too MP3'd samples of audio from an Astro IMBE radio?

Ok, update on the two AS's I posted about ^^ up there: The radios were fitted with dvi modules which were only made for home office use so all home office astros will communicate with each other,and can be put onto acpo25 via the software,only found this out today as the guy i bought them...
