I got a decent ribless jedi cable on eBay

I know it's hard to believe but this thing is actually pretty decent.

http://stores.ebay.com/Wizard-Electronics

I've been using with an XTS3000 and it's rock solid. It's kind of like the cable you get with a 396 or 996 scanner, construction wise.

For the price you can't really beat it.

Glad to hear it works good for you too.

I really liked that thing. It had some awesome sensitivity. It made all the difference in countering the crappy antenna mounting locations in a jeep.

I tend to disagree. I think they went overboard and threw the baby out with the bath water. It seemed like the lazy way out. Instead of cracking down on assclowns they just did away with everything. I mean it's pretty much a wasteland now of the same recycled crap. Look at the no ebay link rule. You...

It's too bad every drop of humor has been squeezed out of that place. I don't visit nearly as often as I used to. As soon as something mildly interesting starts it's killed off. You can't crack a joke. You can't actually talk about anything interesting beyond "where's the fuse". There isn'...

Yaesu.

The rest seem sort of flimsy as far the amateur stuff goes.

The last I saw they were around $1500 retail but if you go to the BK site they have a trade it program. They will take one EPH in on a DPH for a $200 credit.

I may be way off but I thought $1500 was the price.
