Never heard of it before. Is it a first-timer? 8 AM seems kinda late in the morning to open the doors to a hamfest. :baby:

I'm bored enough to make an appearance if I can arrange a crash place.
And the sign says you got to have a membership card to get inside.

I think it started last year. Hopefully there will be someone from the K5MOT club again this year. They sold something like 7 VHF Astro Spectra W7s last year for dirt cheap. Larry got one and it still had their club repeater as well as some other Tarrant county goodies in it. :ham:

Cowtown is indeed 2 years old. Not too many of us Denton peeps went last year due to some outstanding political issues with the hosts.

This time, I have to slave, so.. count me out this time guys. :cheeseandwhine:

The K5MOT folks are real low key and seem secretive, but they do remember us Part 97ers and what we do for the community. I really hope that Circle M doesn't decide to close down that plant in their distress, as I foresee that causing some grief for another entity located just to their south.

(Not to mention, you *know* they have some shiny toys there)
