WR9ARC Hamfest, Galesville WI, 9 Sept 2006

Post by KC9ECI » Wed Aug 09, 2006 4:34 pm

The Riverland Amateur Radio Club will once again be holding it's annual hamfest at the County Fairgrounds in Galesville Wisconsin. The event starts at 8 AM and runs until the last ham leaves. Admission is $1 donation, tables indoors will be a $5 donation, and tailgating is free. VEC test session will be open to any who wish to take the test, or upgrade.

If the ARRL sends a box of stuff like it did last year, there will be doorprizes.
Police, Firefighters and EMS are the most collectively dysfunctional group of people in existence and only we understand each other!

Gonna be there? I'd run over to say hi and have a beer...

how good is the typical turn out for this hamfest?

I'm from the Appleton/Menasha WI area so if it's worth the 2-3 hour drive I may just have to come around and check it out.

It all depends though.
