Useless Quantar Review (Stuff you already know)

Post by spareparts »

Put a VHF repeater together & nearly everything is wrapped up.

Test users reaction ranged from “WTF!!” to “Can we take the old one (to the range) & put it out of it's misery?” Best one was “man, that does not sound like ass”
  • Motorola Quantar T5365A VHF Repeater 100W
    PC-2214 Sinclair Intermod suppression panel
    Q-202GR Sinclair Duplexer/Combiner (ebay)
PD220 Stationmaster (VHF paging site spare, ragged as hell, but still works)
    4 x Hawker/Powersafe SBS C11 VRLA Battery
Andrew LDF-4-50A Heliax and N connectors
Central Steel Fabricators telco racking and battery shelf
Currently on a public safety pair. Will likely end up on 147.0600/147.6600 MHz, mixed mode. Nearest coordinated user on that pair is over the radio horizon, so screw the coordination.
