OK guys lets make sure we give a fair shake when it comes to a review of a particular radio.
I know in the past on other websites some good radios where given bad reviews in lieu of operator's inexperience to read an "Owners Manual"


One example being the original Icom IC-756 and the blue lines on the monochrome display. Some idiot started a rumor that Icom had bad displays because of his lack of experience with the radio's "contrast adjustment".

I personally own this radio, and sure I had blue lines in my display but the problem was resolved by reading the owners manual and making a simple contrast adjustment.

May we do reviews on stuff other than radios? Antennas, etc?
