EVER LIFE FLASHLIGHT POS!!!

Postby TiNy » Sat Dec 10, 2005 1:54 pm

well, A friend of mine bought me one of those "shake em up " flashlights for Christmas. What a POS!!!! dim light from one led etc...
I was really dissapointed I started to try to make it brighter
and took out the saw and took the flashlight apart and found that the SHAKEY THING is not connected to anything and seems just a ad gimick
i did find two 2035 Lithium cells humm no batteries well I beg to differ
I would be PIZZED if I paid money for this light just letting all of you know to stay away from this torch.
I bought a 5 watt Luxeon that smokes any maglight :halfnotworthy: :halfnotworthy: :halfnotworthy: :halfnotworthy: :halfnotworthy:

Thanks for the rant
now lets see what else I can take apart maybe another VISAR qrzmoderator

is a P1225 better than a HT1250 ?
I am still looking for a personal commercial HT.

I like the 1250, but thats what our FD uses and I have
the cables for it.

It went to a friend of Adrians about 2 years ago.

I am thinking about getting a stream light for christmas. We have the SL20-XP/LED at work. So far they seem pretty good and you dont have to shake them to make them work..lol

dude

before you buy, drop me a note

I can sometimes get good prices.

I'll hook you up at wholesale, if one of the distributors I deal with carries it

I'm a light addict, I must admit :P :wacker:

But, my current favorite is the SureFire 6P. Absolutely love that light. Next up is a SureFire Aviator and E1L. Check out the E1L, the entry price is pretty extreme, but it's a damn nice light.

For me:

SureFire L2 Digital LumaMax... 10 or 100 lumens from a 5-watt Luxeon Star LED. Perfect to carry on the belt. Yum - but not cheap.

Streamlight SL20X. The quintessiential flashlight... also handy for use as a hammer, tool, chock, or impact weapon.

Streamlight Fire Vulcan for lots'o'light on fire calls.

I have a Stinger XT with a busted out lexan lense. They must press fit those bastards in there because I see no freakin way to get it out.
How much to hook me up with a new reflector assembly so I can just screw the whole thing on and forget it?
