Verizon Integrated Voice and Data

Post by spareparts »

Verizon Integrated Voice and Data - Anyone have the non-centrex version?

The wholesale pages at VZ state it's available, but no one in sales can locate anything other then FLEXGROW

What I want is pretty simple: One T1 span to the CO, router splitting out 2 T1 ports, one for voice, one for data. DS0 are dynamically allocated to voice from the pool of 24. Remaining bandwidth is utilized for data

Last I remembered, FLEXGROW was it for integrated voice and data on the same T span.

Unless you want to go VOIP....

Are you talking to the general sales folks or the Tier 1 dedicated business reps? General sales was clueless back in my day and probably still are.

But then again things may have changed since Verizon RIFd me 2 1/2 years ago...

If you want, I can make a couple of calls and find out what the options are. Shoot me an e-mail with what you want.

FLEXGROW is Internet and analog centex out of the same pipe. In my case the telco trunk has to be TDM, not centrex.

Our enterprise account rep found some info - apparently is not a tarrifed product, AKA "special arrangement". I fear this will not end well.......
