Could be the same guy that copy-pasted one of mikegilbert's auctions, with a different user account. Or it could be some poor chump that actually bought the thing for FD use (plenty of PD guys do that here for personal radios) and thinks that Motorola doesn't devalue.

Q: Do you have any keyloader cables for sale. I'm making a hat, and it's the only thing I found for making sideburns that hang just right. I'll pay extra if they come with nipple-clips !! May-18-07
A: Sorry, but I can't help you. If you want to be a fag, move to Texas or Toronto.

The in frisco are going to be very upset that they were not mentioned.K8TEK wrote:Q: Do you have any keyloader cables for sale. I'm making a hat, and it's the only thing I found for making sideburns that hang just right. I'll pay extra if they come with nipple-clips !! May-18-07

mintmatchboxman did not accept your Best Offer for US $0.50.
You still have time to make another offer. The listing ends in 4 days 3 hours .
It's sort-of excusable in SA, though, because there's all kinds of shit in the water there that fucks their brains up from an early age.

Ebay using the same pictures. Anybody here actually buy a radio
from him this time around?
Well, considering he was nice enough to map his location and place it conspicuously on his site...akardam wrote:Considering that in the U.S. Motorola has a trademark on the word "Astro" as it applies to digital radios, I wonder how long it is until a Motorola lawyer comes knocking on his door.

It got sold to some other guy local here in LA, I bought it from him knowing there was something fishy but figured since he said it wasn't DOA I was protected against a brick... turns out it's got all kinds of invalid options installed. I think it had about 8 error prompts on the unpack, most related to Modat... anyways when I tried to program in one frequency and shoot it back in I got a model / featureset mismatch error and CPS started laughing at me maniacally10-95 wrote:How'd you manage that? The auction info show every offer was declined.escomm wrote:haha i own that as3 now, not a bad deal for an s-split tbh

Oh, I'm more than happy with HOST5/DSP6. It's just that none of the, uh, "extra-market" people seem to be able to do anything with them.r0f wrote:IMBE will work with a 512K board. As of host R04.xx.xx and DSP 06.xx.xx the firmware supports IMBE. the suck factor is a 512K board won't go above R05.60.04 / DSP 06.05.02 (or DSP 8 if you're a hax0r) because of size limitations.
Personally I won't use firmware that old because of the audio suck factor, but that's just me.
