Never heard of it before. Is it a first-timer? 8 AM seems kinda late in the morning to open the doors to a hamfest.
I'm bored enough to make an appearance if I can arrange a crash place.

I think it started last year. Hopefully there will be someone from the K5MOT club again this year. They sold something like 7 VHF Astro Spectra W7s last year for dirt cheap. Larry got one and it still had their club repeater as well as some other Tarrant county goodies in it.

Cowtown is indeed 2 years old. Not too many of us Denton peeps went last year due to some outstanding political issues with the hosts.
This time, I have to slave, so.. count me out this time guys.
The K5MOT folks are real low key and seem secretive, but they do remember us Part 97ers and what we do for the community. I really hope that Circle M doesn't decide to close down that plant in their distress, as I foresee that causing some grief for another entity located just to their south.
(Not to mention, you *know* they have some shiny toys there)
