Looking through the CPS.. what do you guys think about the new muti site connect plus feature? Im guessing its gonna come down in the next firmware? Wondering if it be a add on you will have to purchase. If anyone see a new mototrbo system planner lemme know...

That'll be a negative, ghostrider. Certified after 1/1/11= no 25KHz out of the box. Applies to all manufacturers of Part 90 equipment.kd8eyf wrote:i hope so. 25khz hopefully without an entitlement
I'd hit it so hard you'd have to be to King of England to pull me out

Connect Plus is out, it will require an option board if the unit is not shipping with it built in.
License per subscriber..
Controller is 20K +
Uses a fixed control channel like type 2 trunking.
Can be configured multisite, voted (sort of) and it intelligent to the point that if no subscriber affiliated to the remote site is on the specific talk group it will not TX on that remote site.
Cap plus is going IP site connect. also requires a license. This one is licensed to the repeater (as far as I know).
Passes traffic in the blind. Meaning it will tie up one talk path on all connected systems within the connected network (again as far as I know)
I haven't heard if the third party filters will work with the cap plus multisite systems that are designed for IP site connect.
