Dayton 2014

Post by WhackerTracker »

So I am a newbie but I will be going to Dayton this year for the first time. Who is going? Do we need to figure out what P25 frequencies we will be using?

frequencies have already been determined
I'd hit it so hard you'd have to be to King of England to pull me out

I looked around and found quite a few. I am guessing 146.495 and 446.495 will be used. Is there anything else that I am missing?

What are these keys you speak of? Can't find any mention of them.

Due to my planning technique (ie none), I have no place to stay for Dayton.
Ideally, I'm hoping to split a room but may have to go it alone.
Strong Drury preference.
Otherwise, strong Miller Lane preference.
As the day draws near, I may have to consider non-Miller inns.

Perhaps you booked an extra room that you don't need?
Or wish to share the cost?

I'm going. Dayton virgin here.

Staying at the Ramada near WSU, so totally not near the Drury or Miller Lane. Not sure if I will be splitting with anyone or not.

Thanks, I booked a room near Univ of Dayton last night as a backstop.
For not being in my ideal area, it is pretty expensive, especially for going it alone.
I'm still hoping for something closer and will continue to check Miller options as we get closer and people release their unneeded reservations.

And I'm sure you'll have a blast. The Hamvention really is one of the highlights of the year.
