I would prefer Friday night since Friday at the 'fest is only a half-day and I'm less likely to be a sweaty tired wreck, and since it looks like it's just us, Friday night it is! 7:00 or 8:00 is fine, either one works for me.

The schedule is weird this year... 4 hours on Friday then full days on Saturday and Sunday. Also you can't reserve or pay in advance for tailgate spots, it's first-come-first-served. It's like they have a whole new management team who only conceptually know what a hamfest is supposed to be.

Good to get to see Jonathan and Mongo (who actually bought more crap than I did) again. Friday and Saturday were solid showings, but a lot of people didn't go back on Sunday (myself included... I spent the day across town with the weeaboos.) Highlights of the weekend for me included photobombing the DMR guy's webcast and driving around old town Plano looking for a mythical BBQ restaurant only to end up at Braum's.
