I know this is early on, but.......count me in! Looks like atleast 3 VE Niner's are coming down, sounds like quite a h00t! I've only been to the little hamfests locally that are held in high school gym's so this is going to be a new experiance, I get smell/taste/feel a real hamfest!

I only have access to some Maxon 900MHz portables that are on commercial frequencies, and I can't even program them :OSS:
.....maybe i'll find a cheap MTX9000 while I'm there...
Another thing to add to the stuff I want but don't have money for list :whiner:

Yup, Count me in. It's not too far of a drive for me to go, much shorter then it is for a Vermont to go to Dayton......Probably wont have my call yet, but I'll be listening to the traffic on the VHF and 900mhz rigs.
Funny story from last year...One of my buddies ended up picking up a bunch of HTs from one Ham, guy said they didn't work, or something was wrong with them. Bought four of em for 100$...Only problem was that batteries were dead, and this idiot couldn't charge them. :halfnotworthy:
3 UHF 1250s, and a VHF 1550 rig. Other finds were a couple of Maxtracs that are now a repeater in my attic, and a few other neat toys....

It sounds like a lot of people bailed out because of the rain......I have NO interest in driving 8 hours in rain to walk around in the rain for 2 days and to top it off, sleep in a car.
Sounds like a few good deals were had because of the low attendance, a friend got 7 or 8 P50's all with good batteries and a gang charger for $30
It sucks that the rain kept so many away, Steve Peker wasn't there :OSS: I wanted to get a new M-PA :ak47:
