This will be my 4th time at Ft. Wayne. R&L, MFJ, sometimes Yaesu and a bunch of ARRL big shots come. It is the best one around here.It is also the Indiana ARRL convention. Hope to see you there even tho I have no idea what you look like.

I already got an amp, an AL80B, but there is always something I can use.
I have friends who will have booths. It's only a couple of hours for me.

I plan to be there. I went last year. It was the best hamfest I have been to.
MFJ and R&L electronics will be there. Hope I can scrape together enough
cash to pick up an amp.

Couple of guys at field day were talking about going up but couldn't agree on
if it was Saturday or Sunday. Someone was sure it was Saturday because
someone they know always goes and he is Mormon. The stuff you here um talk about .

I sure would like to make it. It is only about 1 1/2 to 2 hours up there. Don't think I can tho.

I have the 897D and like it a lot. At first the menus seemed overwhelming but it didn't take long and I started to remember what menu # I wanted. I like the old tube stuff,think it is very cool. When I first upgraded I was using a TR-3 Drake. Right away I got tired of tuning the thing but it put out...

I went,just got home. I went with a friend who was selling some stuff so we parked inside,right behind that porcupine looking car. It was the best fest I have been to in a while.
