Re: Satellite Uplinking
The only time I have seen this is the Mobile Threat Net system we have here at the Henry County EMA, this system allows us to monitor the NOAA radar sites on the road w.o having internet connectivity, and with GPS locator to show where we are in relationship to the storms.K0DEN wrote:Ok fellahs, i have seen while cruising the boards that you can link your laptop through or via XM satellite. It uses the regulat XM antenna, but goed through a decoder about the size of a personal CD player and then plugs into the USB port of your laptop.
the cost of this system is about $6000.00 with EMA discount.
