Anyone know if the findlay ohio hamfest is still on? They have had a big flooding problem up that way for the last couple of weeks.

Even if they are, I doubt the turnout would be much. I went to a hamfest here a week after Rita in 2005, and its turnout was deplorable. And it was going down hundreds of miles out of the disaster zone.
And the sign says you got to have a membership card to get inside.

I actually drove past their antenna farm & radio club on the way to Detroit a couple of weeks ago. Every time we passed a porcupine-mobile I honked out NERD in morse code. Hopefully the irony was not lost on them. It wasn't lost on my friends

They normally have a great hamfest. I didn't make it there this year, but some friends did.
They said the flea market / trunk sales were a lot lower this year, but the inside tables were full.
