DAMN IT! I was a loyal customer since 2005, and even had like 150 RocketRewards points that I can now see flushing down the toilet along with my $199 service fee that I renewed in April.
I signed up for viatalk tonight but I'm worried they may not be able to port my home phone number away from SR since there's no one left to process the request.

you paid with a credit card, right? talk to your card issuer about reversing the charge since they're not providing the service ... but do it quickly--some card issuers have a time deadline for making this sort of claim ...
