Well, after giving it some thought over the past few days, and as there appears to be no interest in going this year, I think I will just sit this one out this time.
It's the end of our hobby as we know it and I feel fine.

Sorry you're not going to be there Tom. Supposed to be partly cloudy in the mid 80's this Friday and Saturday. Last year was a scorcher.

some people are like slinkys, not really good for anything but still bring a smile to your face if you push them down the stairs.

Dear Mongenator, you forget Charles is also, as am I, an inhabitant of SC, which at the very least makes him either border line retarded or a full out window licker....... Looks like there may be a plan in the works for us to do Shelby. Now, I plan to make no purchases, so I will just be along for the ride and to hopefully find that dandy ice cream factory with the awesome sandwich shop attached!

You have my number, send me a text if any of you guys make it up here. I can always give you simple directions in case I can't hang around all day (although I should). I'll have a VHF with me so I can monitor 147.420.
